Officer Evan Haussmann

Officer Haussmann was born and raised in the Town of Barnstable, where he attended and graduated Barnstable High School in 2009. He then attended Plymouth State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 2014.

Officer Haussmann joined the Barnstable Police Department in 2015, and attended the Plymouth Police Academy. Officer Haussmann is currently assigned to the patrol division, and is a Certified Sexual Assault Investigator, Field Training Officer, and Mountain Bike Officer. Officer Haussmann has been a Big Brother for the Big Brother Big Sister program of Cape Cod and the Island since 2015.

Officer Haussmann is inspired by the youth of today and is honored to be a part of the Adopt-a-School family. Officer Haussmann lives in the Town of Barnstable with his wife Stephanie and son Charlie. He believe that the everlasting relationships that he can instill on the youth will reflect in the kindness of many generations to follow.
